Name Jean-Paul Kieffer Job Team Manager Born July 10th, 1961 - Luxembourg Airplane Pitts S-1S, “The Taupe Gun” Jean-Paul has always loved being challenged by others. Photographer since his first age, he became engineer before starting flying in 1991. Jean-Paul has always been very handy and creative. After buying his first plane, he completely renovated it, built his beloved "Taupe Gun" and got very quickly attracted by flying aeronautics. During an aerobatics-training course in 1995, he flew his first loops with Nicolas Ivanoff… There started an everlasting friendship between the two men. As professional photographer, he followed Nicolas’ career during numerous Red Bull Air Races and finally became his Team Coordinator in 2008. As a "do-it-yourself man", he trains Nicolas, manages the team, the public relations, follows the complete logistics of the races… Whenever he has a free moment, he is training aerobatics in his highly modified Pitts S-1S.
